Software engineer · ERP technical lead · AI applied to the business

I build the systems a company actually runs on: ERP, integrations and AI agents that understand the business.

  1. 6+

years building software that runs in production

  2. 100+

    custom Odoo modules in production

  3. 10+

companies in 3 countries run on the ERP I lead

  4. 8

products of my own deployed on my own server

What I do

ERP and operations
I implement Odoo (v15–19) end to end: multi-warehouse inventory, manufacturing, accounting, payroll, POS and electronic invoicing in Colombia, Costa Rica, Bolivia and Mexico.
Integrations and microservices
I connect the ERP to the world: Shopify, TikTok Shop, Amazon, Shippo, WhatsApp and RFID readers, through FastAPI and Go services that have been in production for years.
Applied AI
I design agents with purpose-built tools inside Odoo, local pipelines with Whisper and Ollama, and work daily with Claude Code and Codex using custom skills and MCP servers.
Business
I speak the language of finance, logistics and sales: profit by channel, stock cards, marketplace returns, commissions, bank reconciliation and tax compliance.

Applied AI

Not a list of fashionable tools: agents and pipelines that run today, with real users, and that cut costs, API calls and meetings.

Agents with tools inside the ERP

In Odoo 19's AI app I designed the tools the agent uses to answer about stock, alerts, sales by channel and returns, starting from the team's real questions. Fewer calls, fewer tokens, answers in seconds and an automatic fallback between models when the provider is saturated.

From meeting to specification, locally

Client meetings are transcribed with whisper.cpp and summarized with Qwen 3.5 (27B) on Ollama, using a custom 64k-context model. The output is time-stamped minutes and change lists that become development specs. Nothing leaves my machine.

Agent-assisted development

I work daily with Claude Code and Codex. I maintain an Odoo development skill with 123 pattern files and four agents (context, code review, upgrade analysis, pattern search), a CLAUDE.md per repository, specification prompts and MCP servers for Notion, Google Workspace and my own tools.

Conversational automation

PediloFacil's sales bot works over WhatsApp: it creates demos, manages trials and confirms payments without human intervention. At Datec I built the Go WhatsApp messaging service for a ticketing desk on Meta's API.

About

I trained as a petroleum engineer (Escuela Militar de Ingeniería, Santa Cruz). I worked in field operations with Halliburton and Marriott Drilling and made the jump to software in 2020. That period left me a way of working: what I build has to work every day, with real data and real people using it.

Since then I went from building Django websites to leading the ERP of a retail group in three countries and founding PediloFacil. I like the work where code meets the business: a return that balances in accounting, an inventory that matches the shelf, an agent that answers in seconds what used to take a meeting.

I work remotely from Santa Cruz de la Sierra (UTC−4, full overlap with US hours), in Spanish and English, with teams in Colombia, Costa Rica, the United States and Bolivia.
